Well my local Apple store is closed for remodeling and it’s pretty clear why. Microsoft had opened it first retail store and it is almost indistinguishable from a Apple store. Think I’m kidding? Let’s go to the video.

Palm pulls the plug on Palm OS, bets future on Pre’s webOS: “Palm has pulled the plug on its Palm OS operating system.

For years the Palm OS was the dominant PDA OS. But in recent years, unable to transfer that success to the Smart Phone market and with the dominance of the Blackberry, Windows Mobile and as of late the iPhone. Palm has discontinued it’s Palm OS in favor of it’s new webOS.

I’m in my late thirties so I remember playing video games when the special effects weren’t all that special. One of my favorite Mattel LED games growing up was LED Football. No Team Logos, No combo moves to juke a defender out of the shoes. Nope just a glowing red minus sign running from other glowing red minus signs and a whistle sound effect when a play was finished. WordPress 1.1 for iPhone is out and you will need wordpress 2.6 or higher to take advantage of this iPhone app. I’ll be testing it and reporting on my thoughts over the next week.
